If you’re like me, you want one place to keep all of your notes and reminders.

I use Evernote as the hub of all of my to do lists and notes. It’s neater if everything is in one place.

I’ve discovered a better way to create new notes on an iOS device using Siri and get them into Evernote. (Check out this longer post I did a few months ago about how I use Evernote.)

Step 1. Use this IFTTT recipe I created. If you’re not familiar with IFTTT, it’s a free service that lets you connect applications together. It’s fantastic, only takes a few minutes to set up, and you don’t need any technical nouse.

Step 2. Tell Siri to “Create a new reminder”. Siri will then save that Reminder and IFTTT will (a few minutes later), copy the reminder to Evernote.

If you like IFTTT, you might also want to install the IFTTT iOS app.
