I’m Cameron Reilly, lead consultant and director of Motherlode.
My career started in banking in the late 1980s with Citibank.
For the next 15 years I worked in corporate video production, then with an early ISP (Malcolm Turnbull was one of the owners) at the dawn of the Internet Age, and then in marketing at Microsoft for many years.
In 2004 I left to run my own internet start-up (which is where the magazine cover on the left comes from) which was based on advertising revenue and became a casualty of the 2008 Global Financial Crisis. Don’t worry – I lost those sunnies along with the start-up.
Since then I’ve been devising and executing marketing strategies for a range of clients, big and small, as well as making history documentaries and writing some books.
